The new 2022 Range Rover from Land Rover factory

Land Rover has been spotted testing a prototype for a redesigned Range Rover.

The new mid-size luxury SUV is expected to debut alongside a redesigned version of the stretched Range Rover Long Wheelbase late next year, which means we'll likely see it arrive as a 2022 model. A new Range Rover Sport should also be coming, likely one year after the Range Rover.

Land Rover only last year introduced an updated Range Rover that offered a new inline-6 engine and mild-hybrid system as the base power train. But the current generation dates back to 2013 so it makes sense the redesigned, fourth-generation model is coming up soon.

Compared to the current Range Rover, Land Rover's design team looks to have implemented a slightly less boxier shape for the redesigned model's cabin. The wheel arches also appear to be a bit more pronounced. Finer details, like the accents in the lights.

Land Rover is working on a Redesing for new Range Rover.

Release date for  Redesign 2022 Range Rover

The regular as well as long-wheelbase versions of the redesigned, fourth-generation Range Rover are expected on sale in late 2021 as 2022 models. A new Range Rover Sport should also be coming, likely one year after the regular Range Rover.

Underpinning the vehicle will be Land Rover's new MLA (Modular Longitudinal Architecture) platform that debuts this year in a Jaguar XJ. It was previously thought the platform would debut in the redesigned Defender but Land Rover went with an evolution of the D7 platform instead for the off-roader. The D7 platform underpins the outgoing Range Rover and Range Rover Sport, as well as the Discovery.

The MLA platform has been designed to fit battery-electric powertrains and will eventually underpin most models from the Jaguar and Land Rover brands. The platform will also be lighter than the aluminum-intensive D7 platform.

2022 Range Rover Engine

Regarding engine, expect the that 2022 Range Rover Redesign to feature the inline 6 engine and mild-hybrid system. The setup is good for 355 horsepower and 365 pound-feet of torque in base P360 guise and 395 hp and 406 lb-ft in sportier P400 guise.

Above this should be a new plug-in hybrid setup featuring the inline-6 engine mated to an electric motor at the front axle and a second electric motor powering the rear axle. The current Range Rover plug-in hybrid only has a single-electric motor setup. A battery-electric engine will also be offered in the new Range Rover at some point.

It isn't clear if a V-8 will be offered with the redesigned Range Rover, though a deal with BMW Group could potentially make it happen. Jaguar Land Rover and BMW Group are already poised to share some engines and electric engine, and hopefully a V-8 is on the cards.

Production will be handled at Land Rover's plant in Solihull, United Kingdom, where the current generation is built.

After plugging into the electric-car market Porsche isn't anywhere close to being done with its EV offensive in the coming years. According information which we have the new 2022 Porsche Macan will be pure-electric, and thanks to a new report, we now have a clearer idea of when we'll see the Macan EV hit the road. The exception will be some small operation with Rimac.

2022 Porsche Macan Release date

Release date for new 2022 Macan should be at the end of next year. Considering situation with Coronavirus all over the world, this promotion can be postponed.

Competitors of new 2022 Macan

When we look what competitors do on this field, we see the similar action from Ford with the Mustang Mach-E. From the other side, big competitor in this segment is Tesla Cybertruck and new GMC Hummer.

2022 Porsche Macan Engine (Battery)

Porsche executives that point to as much as 700 horsepower (525 kilowatts) in a Turbo S variant. Obviously it won’t actually have a turbocharger – like the Taycan it will follow Porsche’s familiar naming structure for trim levels. That means there will be a standard Turbo and other submodels to spruce up the Macan EV lineup.

Porsche had confirmed the Macan will sit on this so-called Premium Platform Electric (PPE). We don't know much else about the upcoming electric Macan, except that it will feature 800-volt charging technology. Also, he will be produced at the same Leipzig factory that makes the current, fossil-fuel-powered versions of the small crossover.

The Macan has become the company’s best-selling vehicle in a relatively short amount of time. Nixing internal-combustion power completely is something Porsche buyers might not be ready for, but with the speed at which the auto industry is currently evolving, things could be very different come 2024.

2021 BMW 5-Series

The 2021 BMW 5-Series is seven generation of this popular model from BMW factory. In BMW tradition, the car will receive a facelift to keep it looking and feeling fresh over the second half of its life.

A prototype for the face-lifted version of the 5-Series sedan has just been spotted. The first test of new model 2021 BMW 5-Series was done, including high-performance M5 model as well.

According spy photos, camouflage material seen here suggests we'll be treated with a revised grille and front fascia. Likewise, the rear fascia will also be revised and we may also see tweaks to the taillight signature.

The grille in particular will likely adopt the merged double-kidney design that features on the latest 3-Series and 7-Series models. Thankfully, the changes don't appear to be as extensive as those on the facelift in 7-Series. The 5-Series in its current form is already a handsome brute.

Engine option for new 2021 BMW 5-Series

It will be the standard engine options as the 5-Series is already tapped to receive some new engine for the 2020 model year. For example, the 530e iPerformance plug-in hybrid receives a new battery delivering more electric range and the M550i a more powerful V-8.

There is possibility that the 530i and 540i could see more power or perhaps the addition of mild-hybrid technology with the arrival of the facelifted 5-Series. Also, there is an option that the facelifted 5 Series is expected to gain one new hybrid option.

It isn't clear if there any changes pegged for the cabin but an updated infotainment system and new electronic driver assist features are likely.

2021 BMW 5-Series Release date

Release date for new 5-Series should be in the second half of 2020. Considering current situation it’s possible that promotion will be postponed few month later.
