Škoda Fabia, a popular model from Mlada Boleslav, won the renowned Red Dot award for outstanding product design for the third time since receiving it in 2008 and 2015.

The fourth generation of the Fabia model has thus become part of the success and is following in the footsteps of the brand's icon - the Octavia model. So far, Škoda has won 17 awards in the product design category at a renowned design competition. The international jury was impressed by FABIA’s striking design, spaciousness and overall balanced package.

"Winning the Red Dot award for the new Fabia is a special part and a beautiful confirmation of our work. I would like to thank the entire team that strives every day with great dedication and enthusiasm to develop the product identity of our models. For more than ten years, our cars have regularly impressed internationally renowned jury members with their emotional design, generous space, practicality and exceptional value for money - an attractive all-round package that our customers also appreciate, ”said Oliver Stefani, Head of ŠKODA Design.

The expert jury of the Red Dot Award pointed out: "Fabia conveys a sporty but likable impression with its exterior design. The interior has a surprisingly generous sense of spaciousness. ” The symmetrically designed instrument panel together with the free-standing central screen and other details emphasize the width of the interior and increase the space ”.
