Brabus builds the most powerful superlux suv in the world. Based on the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600, the Brabus 800 develops 800 HP and 950 Nm from the 4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine.

The Brabus tuner builds the most powerful and luxurious Mercedes models in the world. Now, their attention has shifted to the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 superlux SUV, for which the 4-liter V8 engine has been substantially modified. It now develops 800 HP and 950 Nm, with 243 HP and 220 Nm more than the production model.

The huge torque is transmitted to all four wheels via the 9-speed automatic transmission and the gears can be changed manually or automatically. Top speed is limited to 300 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes only 4.5 seconds.

The exhaust system has active flaps that allow you to change the engine sound from a throaty V8 in ‘Sport’ mode and a subtle whisper in ‘Coming Home’ mode at the touch of a button.

Compared to the standard model running on 22-inch wheels, the Brabus 800 has huge 24-inch forged BRABUS Monoblock M “PLATINUM EDITION” rims. Although it runs on larger wheels, the ground clearance is 25 mm lower due to the air suspension modified by Brabus.

The Brabus 800 is equipped as standard with two individual multi-contour seats in the rear, electrically adjustable, with memory, ventilated and heated. Also, the interior is decorated with carbon fiber inserts, aluminum pedals, stainless-steel scuff plates complete with backlit Brabus logo, which changes color in sync with the ambient lighting.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class Becomes A Maybach S-Class

Merc S Classes kitted out to look like a Maybach are aplenty but this dude has taken it further and has kitted a Merc E Class to look like an S 650 Maybach. Complete with V12 badges, this should go down as the greatest automotive catfishes of all times!

When buying a Mercedes-Benz E-Class do customers ever think of upgrading it into a Maybach version? Exactly, they never do. If you can’t afford the real thing, you resort to the one that you can pay for without selling a kidney.

But some Chinese experts have found a customer niche for the conversion. They built a body kit for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class L, with the L standing for Long Wheelbase. This variant is only available in markets such as China and India, stretching all the way to 5,065 millimeters (199.44 inches).

The kit comprises chrome intake surrounds that draw plenty of attention, as well as a larger grille with vertical slats. There is, of course, the Maybach badge. More chrome detailing adorns the exhaust pipes and rear bumper.

Not every Mercedes-Benz E-Class can become a Maybach. The body kit is only compatible with the pre-facelift versions, sold between 2016 and 2020. Customers can purchase it with a few clicks on the Alibaba website with costs between $1,000 and $1,500, according to Carscoops. That is the cost for a fake Maybach, plus labor. Any body shop anywhere in the world should be able to make the conversion.

Automobile Ardent posted photos of a car already converted. The car was spotted in a gas station in Faridabad India. The owner did the trick all the way. He painted his E-Class in two tones in the typical Maybach style and replaced the headlights. The front fenders also sport the V12 badging, so it could really trick anyone. Well, not quite anyone though.

The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class starts at $184,900 in the United States, while the E-Class (with the standard wheelbase though)starts at $54,250. In Germany, customers will pay at least 164,565 euros for the Maybach S-Class and 51,860 euros for the E. Read more > https://mercedes-world.com/e-class/mercedes-benz-e-class-maybach-s-class

There is no longer a dilemma which of the car brands will become completely electric, because everyone will have to go in this direction in order to survive on the European market. With the new concept, Maybach also announces its electric future, but they do not justify their transformation with new regulations but with the fact that customers in major markets are getting younger and demanding a new kind of luxury provided by electric cars.

With the EQS model concept, Mercedes-Maybach provides a clear overview of the first all-electric production model for this luxury brand. This concept is based on the modular architecture for luxury electric vehicles of the Mercedes-Benz brand and transmits the exclusivity of the Maybach brand into the future without exhaust fumes.
On this basis, another fully electric model will appear - EQS SUV, which will go into series production in 2022, even before Maybach. The Mercedes-Maybach EQS concept is very close to the production version, and it is expected on the roads during 2023.
“With the Mercedes-Maybach EQS concept, after 100 years, we are transforming the brand into the electric future. Futuristic design consists of the emotional integration of surfaces and shapes. The front end, with a progressive Maybach grille, follows the principle of integration and gives the brand a whole new look. Together with the new aerodynamic SUV proportions, we are completely redefining the luxury SUV of the future, ”said Gorden Wagener, Chief Design Officer of the Daimler Group.

The two-tone body and a lot of chrome details are the design features of the Maybach brand, and even now it is no different. The Mercedes-Maybach EQS concept is presented in obsidian black metallic paint and zircon red metallic paint with a chrome line that represents the visual dividing line. Chrome surfaces not only extend over the air intake and diffuser front and rear, but also frame the side windows with a chrome frame with a 3D design.
The interior is the epitome of luxury, and the center console is based on the EQS sedan. In front of the driver and front passenger are three screens connected into one unit called the Hyperscreen, while the seats are taken from the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class.

However, this SUV brings even more space for rear passengers than the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, so comfort is at the highest possible level. There are two individual seats with the option of heating, cooling and massage, which are also taken from the S-Class Maybach.

The statement said nothing about the propulsion system that powers this concept, but it is known that the range with a single battery charge according to the WLTP standard will be about 600 kilometers.

The crown jewel of Daimler's car line has dawned in the Russian configurator, where this extended, stretched, luxury sedan with a twin-turbo 6.0-liter engine and a 9-speed automatic transmission can already be configured and ordered.

Only a day or two after the teaser of the label and photos announced the arrival of the top version of the new generation of Maybach, the first data began to be revealed, albeit by a detour. Namely, while the last mention of Maybach on Mercedes' press pages was in mid-April, announcing the company's 100th birthday, the strongest model first appeared and then disappeared from the company's Russian pages even faster (but not fast enough). So it became clear that the top version is powered by a 6.0-liter twin-turbo engine with a nine-speed automatic transmission.

It develops 450 kW / 604 hp and the car fires from a standstill to 100 km / h in just 4.5 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 250 km / h. As previously announced, with the V12 engine it gets an all-wheel drive system, instead of sending all that power to the rear wheels as was the case with the old S650 and AMG S65. The Russian configurator also reveals the weight of the car, the weight shows 2,350 kilograms, which makes the acceleration figure even more impressive. The power of 604 hp is lower by 17 hp compared to the previous generation S650. Although torque is not mentioned, it is assumed to be 1,000 Nm as before.

The V12 version will not remain the most powerful S-Class of this generation for long, as Mercedes-AMG is preparing two versions of its luxury sedan. Both should be plug-in hybrids, the S63e with about 700 hp coming later this year and the stronger S73e with about 800 hp arriving later. Meanwhile, the S680 will be one of the most expensive vehicles in the world, not counting supercars and hyperautomobiles. The Russian configurator states the starting price in the equivalent of 310,000 EUR.
