The new generation of the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer (U06) is now officially ahead of us, but we have already met its appearance thanks to the numerous leaked images we have seen in recent days.

The weight ranges from 1545 to 1620 kg, and as far as the trunk is concerned, its volume is 470 liters or 1455 liters with the rear seats folded down.

The range will include 218i versions with 136HP and 230 Nm, 220i with 156HP and 240 Nm, 223i with 204HP and 320 Nm, as well as diesel 218d with 150HP and 360 Nm. The petrols are with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, while all engines are paired with a new 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The BMW 230e xDrive Active Tourer with plug-in hybrid drive and a total of 240 kW / 326HP will be offered later, as well as the BMW 225e xDrive Active Tourer with 180 kW / 245HP.

Prices in Germany start at 34,750 euros, which is the price of the base petrol version 218i.
