First arrives in Serbia: Sales of the Jeep Wrangler 4xe begin

Showrooms in Italy, Spain, Belgium and Serbia are starting to accept orders for the new Jeep Wrangler 4xe for 2022 today, and sales in other European markets are expected to begin in December.

Introduced last summer, the new Jeep Wrangler 4xe Plug-in Hybrid is the most powerful but also the most efficient Wrangler ever introduced in the European market and marks an important milestone in the brand's history and an additional step towards electrifying the entire range.

With the introduction of the 2022 version, the full range of Wrangler models is offered in a plug-in hybrid version in European markets where it is driven on the left. This provides a solid basis for the brand's plan to electrify 70% of all Jeep vehicles sold worldwide by 2025.

For 2022, the Wrangler 4xe range has been further enhanced with advanced technology and a range of state-of-the-art driving assistance systems, including automatic high beam control, full-speed head-on collision warning with advanced braking assistance and adaptive cruise control with stop option - they are all part of the standard equipment on the 2022 model with standard dead center monitoring with detection of obstacles when driving backwards, rear cameras and a system for assisting parking forward and backward from the model for the previous year.

Performance has also been improved: the Wrangler 4xe accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.4 seconds, and has a maximum combined power of 380 hp and a torque of 637 Nm. In addition, it has 4 × 4 drive in all-electric mode and can provide an autonomy of more than 50 km in all-electric mode with zero emissions (in urban WLTP cycle).

The new Wrangler 4xe has been developed to offer the latest technology and connectivity to meet the needs of increasingly demanding customers. It is equipped with Uconnect services with specific programs for electrified driving and advanced connectivity, such as My Assistant, My Car, My Remote and My eCharge.

The Wrangler 4xe models will also feature a factory-fitted Jeep Performance Parts (PPP) windshield made of Corning Gorilla Glass (standard on the Rubicon version and optional on the Sahara version), which uses the same chemical boost technology as the screens on mobile phones. The combination of the ultra-light Gorilla Glass inner layer with a 52% thicker outer layer makes this windshield lighter, more durable, and up to three times more resistant to cuts, cracks and bumps from rocks and debris.

As of today, it is possible to order a plug-in hybrid Jeep Wrangler 4xe from us, and for now, the starting price for the Rubicon equipment package is 72,000 euros.
