Kia is discontinuing its most attractive model
Kia has long been cautious when it comes to the second generation of this sports sedan. In addition, the Korean brand embarked on a strong transition towards the electrification of its range.
According to reports, 1,499 Stinger units were sold in Korea in the first nine months, which is 39.1 percent less than the previous year.
In July 2021, there were rumors that the production of this car will end by the second quarter of 2022. Of course, that didn't happen.
Earlier this year, Kia brand design chief Karim Habib said the EV6 GT electric model has the "spirit of the Stinger" in it, indicating that the Korean manufacturer is prioritizing electric models over high-performance SUS sedans.
