French DS Automobiles has expanded the range of its luxury DS 9 sedan, which is now available in a new version of the E-Tense 250.

The DS 9 E-Tense 250 has a hybrid powertrain, with a combination of 145 kW / 200 hp PureTech petrol, 80 kW / 109 hp electric motor and 15.6 kWh battery, with electric mode only (up to 70 km).

Top speed is limited to 240 km / h, average fuel consumption according to factory data is only 1.1 l / 100 km, while CO2 emissions are 26 grams per km.

The DS 9 E-Tense 250 is available with Performance Line + and Rivoli + equipment packages, with the former already featuring a high-gloss black front grill, 19-inch alloy wheels and an interior with black Alcantara and gold-colored seams.

The Performance Line + version in France costs € 58,000, and the more expensive Rivoli + can be purchased for € 60,900.

We have long been accustomed to Chinese copies of Western car brands. Another copy copy has appeared these days, and it is interesting because it borrows some of the design guidelines of Tesla's futuristic truck.

Chinese electric car manufacturer Edison Future has introduced its future electric-solar pickup truck EF1-T. It is a rather interestingly designed modern truck, which, in addition to electric drive, also stands out with a retractable solar roof, writes Autonet.hr. When fully extended, the solar collector covers the cargo area and gives the entire vehicle an elegant and aerodynamic side line. A small "problem", however, is the fact that at the time the EF1-T was quite similar to Tesla's Cybertruc.

True, this is a slightly more conventional body, without sharp edges and a monolithic construction made of bulletproof stainless steel - but still, it still reminds many of the announced Cybertruck.

Edison Future says that solar panels will be able to add about 40-55 kilometers of range during all-day sun exposure, and the total estimated range with one battery charge will be just over 700 km.

From zero to 100 km / h, the EF1-T should accelerate in less than 4 seconds, while its total payload will be up to 5 tons, all in the most powerful version. Like the Cybertruck, this truck will be offered in three variants - with one, two, or three electric motors. Prices have not been announced yet, and the manufacturer announces availability during 2025.

Cybertruck should hit the market at the end of next year. Its prices will be from 40 thousand dollars and more.

BMW has released a set of official photos from the winter testing of its future i7 electric sedan, of course still under cover.

The pictures were taken at the company's winter test center in Arjeplog, Sweden, while the premiere can be expected in the coming months (sales will probably start at the end of next year).

It is BMW's competitor to the electric Mercedes EQS, where the car will, among other things, get a curved display, as well as more advanced autonomous driving technology.

The vehicle will be based on a flexible CLAR platform, and it is expected that the i7 could get two electric motors like the BMW iX xDrive50 (which has 523HP and 765Nm, has 105.2 kWh batteries and 630km autonomy).

In addition, there should be other versions on offer, including the M Performance variant with more than 600HP.

Yes, the Fiat Panda experienced a facelift not so long ago. But that probably didn't stop the design team from working on this model a bit more and changing some more details - including the one that is visible at first glance.

Recall, the last facelift of the Fiat Panda took place a little over a year ago - in late October 2020. The changes were not great - just a new bumper, new wheels, differently shaped wheel arches, new materials inside, new multimedia and Sport version. Surprisingly, the 4 × 4 variant has survived, which is probably the strangest car product on the market today - a city car with all-wheel drive and a two-cylinder engine with a volume of 0.9 liters. You will not find others on the market.

And now the Fiat Panda will probably get another refreshment

However, as Quattroruote.it reports, this will be even more subtle. The whole confusion in this case was caused by the advertising campaign of one of the domestic dealers, within which, among other things, only graphics were published. The one on the right is of course the Fiat 500L, but it is not relevant to this text. The car on the left is important, which is the Fiat Panda.

The bumper finish is different, among other things, but the biggest difference is the logo - this is a new logo, like the Fiat Type.

Of course, it can only be a Photoshop slip and someone changed the logo on Panda. However, we can also expect Fiat to present such a refreshed model and that Panda will actually see a real change of logo - not just on promotional graphics.

Quattroruote.it speculates that a slight refresh on the outside can also go hand in hand with refreshing equipment and the addition of new systems - although Panda already has most of what customers are looking for and what can be expected from a cheap city car.

Lucid Air immediately set two important records on its debut. In addition to having the longest declared range, the Air also boasts the fastest battery charging. According to Index.hr, "Inside EV" tested and confirmed that it is really the fastest charging of batteries in a car.

Chinese FAW has introduced the Bestune B70S, a new “coupe-crossover” version of the existing B70 model.

It is a car with front-wheel drive, 1.5-liter turbo gasoline with 169HP and 258 Nm, 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic transmission with dual clutch, as well as equipment that includes, among other things, alloy wheels up to 19 inches, six airbags, LED headlights, dual-zone air conditioning, wide digital screen, artificial leather in the interior, front seats with el. adjustable and panoramic roof.

The offer will also include a more powerful 2.0 turbo engine with 224HP and 340 Nm, with a 6-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.

In terms of dimensions, the B70S is 4555 mm long, 1850 mm wide, 1515 mm high and has a wheelbase of 2750 mm.

The FAW Bestune B70S goes on sale in the spring of 2022, while its price will be announced later.
