The Lancia Delta Integrale is one of the most famous hot-hatch vehicles created for the rally, and the particularly rare and desirable model Evoluzione II Edizione Finale is sold at a price close to the all-new Lamborghini Huracan STO.

Delta Integrale proved dominant in the WRC, scoring 44 wins between 1987 and 1991, and returning home with 6 constructor titles and 4 driver titles. All examples for driving on the road are very desirable, but this is a variant that was made in only 250 copies, writes Jutarnji.hr.

This Delta Integrale Evoluzione II Edizione Finale is sold by DK Engineering from Great Britain, and it is a car in a red shade called 'Rosso Amaranto'. It also has a livery of the central bar in ‘Turin’ yellow and ‘Blue’ blue, while the 16-inch wheels are finished in anthracite gray.

According to the list, the first owner only used the car sparingly before it was exported to Belgium in 2008. It was then bought by its sole owner from the United Kingdom the following year, with whom the car spent most of the last decade in a purpose-built warehouse. It is interesting that the car has covered only 5,500 kilometers, and as such is in exceptional condition - especially in the cabin where there are no traces of use.

All that, however, comes at a very 'heavenly' price. The price of the car is 224,995 British pounds.

Dacia Spring, the cheapest electric car in Europe, has made a real "blitzkrieg" on the Romanian market, with 40,000 orders in just eight months.

Already in October, we could see that the new electric car is doing well, when it reached the third place in Western Europe in the category of purely electric models, with sales of almost 5,300 units. However, November could be even more spectacular, write Vrele Gume.

According to the latest data from the Best Selling Cars Blog, Dacia Spring is the best-selling model in its native Romania. Spring recorded 1,195 registrations, referring to 10.4 market shares in November. This is a great result, especially considering that other electric cars are not selling very well in Romania (a total of 1,914 in the first nine months of this year).

Of course, it is clear that the price plays a major role here, and it amounts to 17,890 euros, before the subsidies are charged. However, in general, the whole of Europe needs affordable electric models, since the initial EV revolution was launched in the premium segment.

In November, Dacia Spring was the first electric car in France in terms of sales (sixth overall with 2,895 units). In Germany, 657 copies were sold, so that only in the three mentioned markets, 4,747 units were placed in a month.

Investigation of 580,000 Tesla cars

The American Traffic Safety Agency (NHTSA) announced that it has opened a formal investigation into 580,000 "Tesla" cars sold since 2017, after the decision of this manufacturer to allow games to be played on the central screen in the cabin.

The statement states that the preliminary evaluation includes models produced from 2017 to 2022, and that the new option "game for passengers" can distract the driver, which increases the risk of a collision.

NHTSA states that it has been confirmed that this option has been present in "Tesla's" cars since December 2020 and that it has been available so far "only when the vehicle is in parking mode".

Tesla has not yet commented on this information.

The agency states that it will "evaluate all aspects of this function, including the frequency and scenario of using the 'passenger game'".

NHTSA announced earlier this month that distractions from drivers have a significant share in deaths on American roads, and that in 2019 there were 3,142 of them. Commentators for this area state that the problem is underestimated in the official numbers because, after the accident, not all drivers admit that something distracted them.

Audi before entering Formula 1

Audi's plans to enter Formula 1 are gaining momentum. The German manufacturer is satisfied with the direction in which the creation of new rules is moving.

At the meeting of the World Council of Motorsports last week, the framework of regulations for 2026, related to power units, was presented, with the goal of using 100 percent sustainable fuels, as well as to focus more on electricity. The intention is also to significantly reduce costs, both for existing producers and new names that will eventually join the "fastest circus in the world".

It seems that Audi is very satisfied with this draft, so it is on the verge of officially confirming its entry into Formula 1, write Vrele Gume.

In a letter sent by the head of another Bavarian brand, Marcus Disman, and Oliver Hoffman from the board of directors to the now former FIA president Jean Tod (replaced by Muhammad Ben Sulay) and Formula 1 general manager Stefan Domenikali, Audi congratulated the FIA -and at organizing a fair competition "literally until the last round of the season". The letter adds that Audi is very close to signing on paper and entering Formula 1, and that the regulation is a fair compromise that offers equal chances on the grid.

The letter, which was forwarded to the members of the World Motorsport Council, ahead of the final meeting on December 15, states that with the "regulatory draft question 6" to be adopted by the council, Audi is committed to the entry process, hoping that the draft will be confirmed in early 2022. The draft was ratified during the meeting, and as announced last week, plans for the 2026 powertrain still include a 1.6-liter V6 engine, but without the MGU-H, with an increase in power at 350 kW (475 hp).

This Range Rover could not cope with the snow-covered street. As can be seen from the video, the car used highly valued Michelin Alpin (winter) tires.

The attached video shows that the driver was trying to accelerate in order to manage to overcome the street hill. The attempt did not end well.

The British SUV has all-wheel drive and a number of support systems that should help with such challenges. Some will say that the driver failed, but that is not entirely true.

People familiar with off-road driving would probably find a way to cross this section without major problems, but the buyer of such a car will probably not train on the muddy sections of the off-road rally. That is why he buys a modern and expensive model in order to safely and quickly overcome obstacles on the road, regardless of the weather conditions. So, it should be taken into account that the Range Rover Sport simply will not cope with the challenge. It is possible that there was already a layer of ice under the snow, which made it impossible to successfully overcome the hills. In addition, this model weighs 2 to 2.5 tons, which also contributed to this result. Lighter 4 × 4 cars would have a better chance.

Renault has announced the price list for the Megane E-Tech Electric, one of the most anticipated models of the French brand in recent years.

This electric model from the C segment will start with a price of 35,200 euros in France for the version with 130 hp and a 40 kWh battery in the basic edition. Of course, when the environmental bonus of 6,000 euros is deducted, the price drops to 29,200 euros. On the other side of the range is the version with 220 horses and a 60 kWh battery with the ability to quickly charge, for which the most expensive edition costs 51,400 euros (excluding the bonus).

The current conventional Megane, available with diesel, petrol and plug-in hybrid powertrains, will continue to be sold for several years, write Vrele Gume.

The head of the company, Luka de Meo, hopes to reverse the situation with a strategy called "Value rather than volume", concentrating on a more positioned C segment instead of small cars, and Megane E-Tech Electric is the best example of this.

Renault currently offers Megane hatchbacks and station wagons in terms of compact models, as well as Kadjar SUVs, which are listed lower on the market compared to direct competitors.

The newcomer will be produced at Renault's factory in the north of France, where this manufacturer is setting up an "ElectrCity" complex of production plants for assembly and production of components, as it makes a departure from conventional engines.

Megane E-Tech Electric will be available in Equilibre, Techno and Iconic equipment levels. The main factor of differentiation will be the battery pack, available in variants with 40 kWh (300 kilometers range) and 60 kWh (450-470 kilometers). Customers can choose between 130 and 220 hp electric motors.

Renault says the charging time is 30 minutes for a 300-kilometer drive, on a 130 kW high-speed charger. Customers can specify what type of home charger they want: Standard (AC up to 7 kW), Boost (AC up to 7 kW, DC up to 85 kW), Super (AC up to 7 kW, DC up to 130 kW) or Optimum (AC up to 22 kW) , DC up to 130 kW).

Megane E-Tech Electric will compete with a growing number of compact electric cars, including the VW ID.3 (from € 39,900 in France), the Citroen C4 (from € 35,600 in France) and the Nissan Leaf (€ 34,400 in France. Peugeot 308 and Opel The Astra will get electric versions in 2023. At a higher price range, Renault's chicken is already entering the territory of Tesla Model 3, the best-selling electric car in Europe. The American brand has cut prices for its model to profit from subsidies in different countries.
