2022 Ford Explorer

The best selling SUV of the all time is Ford Explorer. To confirm that fact is date that since launching in 1991, nearly 8 million of the Ford Explorers have been sold.

Today, the current model sitting in showrooms remains the top selling three-row SUV on the market -- even though it debuted way back in 2011 and contends with a number of fresher entries.

2022 Ford Explorer exterior and interior

From the exterior point of view, the next-generation Explorer's appearance is best described as an evolution of current model. Up front, there's a new grille shape, light housings and shorter front overhangs for a bit more ground clearance and better approach angle for off-road excursions. From the side, the subtle changes are more noticeable, with a tapering roof-line and more sculpted profile surfaces, but overall the exterior redo is underwhelming and looks like it could've been seen on the road for a couple of years already.

Alterations inside are more apparent with new multi-contour seats, tiered dash design and more spacious accommodations. That's thanks in large part to a 6.3-inch longer wheelbase that Ford says gives the new Explorer best-in-class first- and second-row hip room.

The conclusion is that the exterior of the new Ford Explorer doesn't fall far from the outgoing model.

Cargo capacity is also at the top of the class with 87.8 cubic feet of space available behind the first row seats and offering the ability to carry 4x8 sheets of plywood for the first time. Other available interior niceties include heated and cooled massaging seats up front, individual climate controls in all three rows and a bigger panoramic roof.

On the tech front, an updated Sync3 system with an 8-inch touchscreen, Wi-Fi hotspot for up to 10 devices. A 10.1-inch portrait touchscreen interface is optional, along with a 14-speaker B&O audio setup. Top Platinum models also benefit from a standard 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, with varying 3D animated graphics depending on which drive mode is selected in Explorers equipped with the Terrain Management System.

To juice up smart devices, the Explorer offers a wireless charge pad up front, up to three 12-volt outlets, two USB-A and two USB-C ports and a 110-volt three-prong outlet.

For safety, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keep assist and rear cross-traffic alert come on all Explorers, while intelligent adaptive cruise control with traffic sign recognition, reverse brake assist and a 360-degree camera are offered on midlevel trims on up.

Engine options of 2022 Ford Explorer

Base models tip the scale at 4,345 pounds. Standard power now comes from a 2.3-liter turbocharged four with 300 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque, meaning the old 3.5-liter V6 is no more.

The engine gets mated with a 10-speed automatic transmission routing power to rear wheels or to all corners through a rear-biased all-wheel drive system with axle disconnect that's available with a seven-mode Terrain Management System.

Towing capacity for the four punches in at 5,300 pounds, but fuel economy figures aren't available yet. Ford is simply promising better efficiency and driving range than before.

Those looking for more oomph will want to look at the Platinum model, which packs a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 with 365 horses, a stout 380 pound-feet of torque, all-wheel drive and 5,600-pound tow capacity. As for other drivetrain offerings, a hybrid and performace for ST model are confirmed to be on the way.

2022 Ford Explorer price and release date

Sales of the 2022 Ford Explorer will begin in summer 2021 with a $33,860 base price representing a $400 increase over the previous model. The lineup will include the base Explorer, XLT, Limited, Limited Hybrid, ST and Platinum trims.

2021 Toyota Supra

The new model of 2021 Toyota Supra will have a brilliant performance as we use to it. She will offer a turbocharged six-cylinder engine that Supra says makes 335 horsepower. No convertible version has been announced, so the Supra will be offered exclusively as a coupe. If you're looking for a drop-top sports car, then the main competitor is a new BMW Z4. One of the basic advantages which Toyota provide is option to give its version a personality all its own.

2021 Toyota Supra Interior

The interesting fact is that the first 1500 Supras will be sold as Launch Edition models. So this first lot of new Supra should be sold in record time frame

Regarding interior the new 2021 Toyota Supra will offer a larger 8.8-inch infotainment touchscreen, Apple CarPlay capability, a 12-speaker JBL stereo system, a head-up display, and heated leather seats. The Supra is offered in several hot hues; we'd be tempted by Nitro Yellow for an extra $400, but we also like Downshift Blue which adds no extra cost to the bottom line.

Engine options for new 2021 Toyota Supra

All Supra models come with an eight-speed automatic and are offered only with rear-wheel drive. At our test track, the Supra performances are as follow: zero to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds and zero to 100 mph in only 9.5. So the main competitors on this fild are Chevy Corvette, Porsche Cayman GTS and BMW M2.

The new fort generation of Supra that was powered by a twin-turbocharged inline-six that made 320 horsepower.

Disadvantage of Supra is fact that there's no manual transmission option. Anyhow regarding the the Supra will gain a stick later in its production run as lower priced four-cylinder model is also rumored. Despite its performance potential, the Supra's suspension is forgiving enough to drive daily; its steering is accurate, nicely weighted, and direct, which enhances its fun-to-drive personality.

Basic price for new 2021 Toyota Supra will start from $ 49,990.00.

2021 Ford F-150 Electric

The company Ford officially confirmed plans regarding a fully electric model F-150. Presentation will be on Detroit Auto Show, in addition to offer a hybrid version. The model F-150 is the best-selling truck on US market. The electric model will be big step forward in the truck segment.

Exterior of the new 2021 Ford F-150 looked mostly the same as the existing truck, except for a place to plug in and a slightly higher ride height for fitting the batteries underneath the cab. Still it s not possible to get any official details about engine options for new model.

The company refused to offer details about what powered the pickup, though.

The basic idea of an electric pickup jumped to 18 percent among respondents to an internal survey. Before seeing the F-150 EV haul the heavy load, the figure was just 10 percent of folks taking the survey having an interest in the EV truck.

An updated F-150 is reportedly coming for the 2021 model year, and the EV variant would likely wear its revised styling. So far, spy shots of test mules don't tell us much about how the truck looks. However, early indications suggest the popular pickup could have a 12 inches screen.

Regarding engine options, a new 4,8 liter V8 with 420 hp should replace existing 5,0 liter V8 engine.

Release date should be at the second part of 2020.

2020 Renault Megane

The main competitor of Megane RS is the Golf GTI. In hotter Trophy and Trophy R guises is among the fastest hot hatches in production. In fact, the recently launched Megane Trophy R is the fastest front-wheel-drive car around the Nürburgring with a time of 7:40.1

Megan is one of the best sales model. Regarding the sales of the Renault group all goes according to plan. Forecast for Renault's sales will grow from 3.5 million per annum at the end of 2016 to five million in 2022. While sales in Europe will remain flat at 1.8 million units annually, sales in all other regions are expect to grow significantly.

Eastern Europe and Russia will grow from 649,000 cars to 1.1 million; Africa, the Middle East and India will expand from 491,000 to over 850,000; and South and Central America will increase from 354,000 to 600,000.

Most importantly for us, sales in the Asia-Pacific and China are forecast to grow from just 167,000 to 700,000, a four-fold increase. Key growth markets are expected to be Brazil, China, India and Iran.

For the update, the Megane will receive revised internals for the lights at both ends. The car's interior should also be tweaked and possibly the infotainment system updated.

It isn't clear what mechanical mods are planned but we could see some extra power dialed in for the performance variants. The current Megane RS features a 1.8-liter turbocharged inline-4 generating 275 horsepower and 287 pound-feet of torque. It also features the choice of 6-speed manual or dual-clutch transmissions, plus four-wheel steering. Drive is to the front wheels only, though.

Unfortunately, we won't see the car in the United States as the Renault brand doesn't operate here. In other markets, the car should debut alongside an updated Megane range in early 2020.

2022 Mercedes SL

The new 2022 Mercedes SL will be an attempt to restore the once-legendary Benz roadster to its former luster by way of a fabric top and small but usable rear seats.

Fully developed by AMG in Affalterbach, the next-gen SL will be the architecture beneath the two-seat AMG GT. He goes back to the gullwinged SLS AMG. This reinvention will be more in the spirit of a grand tourer for two reasons: Mercedes needs to differentiate it from the GT roadster, and the SL will replace the S class cabriolet.

Engine option for 2022 Mercedes SL Class

The new Mercedes SL maybe won't get the outgoing SL's 12-cylinder, which Mercedes silently removed from the order sheet in mid-2018. Mercedes will provide turbocharged straight-sixes and V-8s with 48-volt hybrid assistance will ensure that the SL doesn't lack for power or torque.

The Mercedes SL550 will come with the 4.7-liter V-8, while the AMG SL63 has a 5.5-liter V-8 under the hood. According some rumors maybe the AMG SL65 will get the old 6.0-liter V-12. All three mill will be discontinued for the new generation. While the V-12 will go down together with the AMG SL65 trim, the SL550 will disappear to make way for the AMG SL53, while the AMG SL63 will have a new unit.

This new engine will be the familiar twin-turbo, 4.0-liter V-8 that already motivates almost all AMG cars and SUVs out there. This engine generates up to 577 horsepower in the AMG GT sports car, but it cranks out up to 603 horses in the S-Class. Needless to say, the new SL won’t lack the power in AMG trim. And it won’t in non-AMG trim either. The current 3.0-liter V-6 will be revised for the new generation, and output will increase to around 380 horses.

Mercedes SL Release date and price

Release date for new 2022 Mercedes SL will be at the second part of 2021. The SL model with Six-cylinder engine option will begin with the price just under $100,000.

2021 Mercedes S Class

A lot of people look forward to see a new Mercedes S Class. Here we provide some spy photos. This new model is proud three-pointed star factory.

Despite being covered from front to rear, the next generation of Daimler’s flagship does show a good chunk of its wide grille as well as most of the headlight design. The door handles remain covered under extra layers of camo, leading us to believe the S will switch to those nifty electronic pop-out handles we’ve already shown in Maybach version

2021 Mercedes S Class Engine

Speaking of electrification, even the AMG S63 will switch to a plug-in hybrid engine, while the V12 won’t be making a return since the 6.0-liter engine died with the model S65.

The future Maybach S-Class might still have the twin-turbo with its mighty 600+ horsepower taking into account Mercedes said a while back the V12 could stick around for a while in models carrying the double M badge.

While the standard S-Class is based on the MRA platform, the all-wheel-drive Mercedes-Benz EQ S sits on a more innovative MEA (modular electric architecture). It will get two electric motors in front and rear which provide permanent four-wheel drive in all variants. The car is expected to produce 406 hp and 516 lbft (700 Nm) and even more.

2021 Mercedes S Class development strategy

The S-Class lineup will be going through some drastic changes as proverbial axe, while the sedan model will allegedly be sold only with a long wheelbase. Additional plus the extra-long Maybach and maybe a new extra-extra-long Pullman. The death of the two-door models wouldn’t come as a surprise seeing as how sales haven’t been exactly great, and with Mercedes developing both a next generation of SL and an AMG GT. There is a basic risk the two would partially overlap with the S-Class Coupe and Convertible, therefore cannibalizing sales.
